Program Description

Gideon’s Promise, a non-profit public defender organization, asks for your support in airing its recently produced video public service announcements (PSAs). The “Keep Gideon’s Promise” national campaign serves to generate awareness about the importance of public defenders and how their work is essential in protecting the civil rights of America’s most vulnerable citizens. The campaign also seeks to draw attention to the disparities that exist for those seeking legal counsel in underserved communities. Gideon’s Promise is celebrating 15 years in the fight to end mass incarceration.

The “Keep Gideon’s Promise” PSAs feature various public defenders talking about their work. The PSAs end with a call-to-action to visit www.gideonspromise.org to learn more.
