NAMI Chicago – Radio PSA Campaign
EVERGREEN (no expiration date);
It’s time to talk about mental illness.
Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental illness. NAMI Chicago, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), a leading nonprofit dedicated to improving mental health and well-being in the Chicago area, would appreciate your support in airing its recently produced radio public service announcement (PSA).
The PSA serves to raise awareness about mental health resources and encourage those struggling to reach out for support. It features a compassionate voice inviting listeners to share how they’re really doing—whether they’re stressed, behind on rent, or simply overwhelmed. It emphasizes that NAMI Chicago Helpline specialists are available to listen, not judge, and to connect individuals with free, local mental health resources. Listeners are encouraged to call or text “Helpline” to (833) 626-4244 for support.
