Colorado 811 – Radio PSA Campaign

Colorado 811, a nonprofit organization that serves as the communication link between utility owners and excavators or homeowners, would appreciate your support in airing its recently produced radio public service announcements (PSAs). The PSAs serve as a reminder to excavators to use the CO811 service before digging around underground utilities.
In these lighthearted PSAs, “Captain Dig Safe” appears just in time to stop a homeowner from unknowingly putting underground utilities at risk. Whether you’re planting a tree, installing a fence, or setting a mailbox, Colorado law requires you to contact 811 before you dig. It’s fast, free, and could prevent costly — or dangerous — mistakes. This campaign includes six (6) PSAs in English and Spanish. The PSAs encourage excavators to use the 811 service before starting any digging project. More information is available at colorado811.org.
