Program Description: The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), recently produced a Protect Your Move PSA aimed to combat interstate household goods moving fraud by educating consumers on how to plan a successful move.

Campaign Mission:

• Educate viewers on how to plan a successful move and inform them on the “red flags” of moving fraud.
• Inform viewers that they can find checklists and other resources at www.protectyourmove.gov.
• Direct viewers to file a complaint at www.protectyourmove.gov if they have been a victim of moving fraud.
