Dementia Society of America
The Dementia Society Can Help Campaign
Program Description
The Dementia Society of America® (DSA) requests your support in airing its recently produced television public service announcements (PSAs). The PSAs educate viewers on the importance of brain check-ups starting at age 65 to maintain or enhance brain health. They also invite viewers to request a free copy of DSA’s guide, filled with tips for Better Brain Health, caregiving, facts about Dementia, and much more.
Recent studies have shown there are 55 million people around the globe living with Dementia, a syndrome that represents the fourth-leading cause of death in high-income countries. Encouraging regular brain check-ups and promoting DSA’s free guide will help to reduce these statistics. DSA and the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) recommend annual cognitive screenings for older adults.
