Dementia Society of America
“Caregiver” Campaign
Program Description
Dementia Society of America® (DSA) would appreciate your support in airing its recently produced radio public service announcements (PSAs). The PSAs were produced to raise awareness about DSA’s free and informative guide to Dementia for caregivers.
Did you know that over 9 million Americans are currently estimated to be living with some form of Dementia? When all types of Dementia are combined, the syndrome represents the third leading cause of death in high-income countries, according to the World Health Organization. Being a Dementia caregiver can build relationships—and test them. Having helpful information about the syndrome can empower people to survive and thrive as caregivers. These three PSAs feature caregiver Bill, who encourages listeners to request the free guide filled with tips on care, planning, and important facts about Dementia.
These three PSAs (:15, :30, :60) address the confusion so many of us have about dementia and direct listeners to the free guide for answers.
