Program Description
The Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) respectfully requests your support in airing its newly produced public service announcements (PSAs) designed to protect Virginia’s older adults and adults with disabilities from harm by promoting their new adult abuse online reporting portal which is available anytime at:
Campaign Mission
- Encourage Virginians to report suspected adult abuse, neglect, and exploitation to APS
- Inform the public about APS services and how the program protects vulnerable adults
- Increase awareness of how APS responds to reports of mistreatment
- Highlight the availability of the Adult Abuse Online Portal: reportadultabuse.com
- Direct individuals to additional resources at dars.virginia.gov
The PSAs are EVERGREEN (no end date) and available as 15-, 30- and 60-second spots in HD and SD formats.
