Program Description:
The Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes would appreciate your station or network’s participation in airing its recently produced TV public service announcements (PSAs). The PSAs highlight how the Coalition’s programs not only help a severely wounded or disabled veteran with their basic needs, but also offer assistance to the veteran’s spouse or caregiver.
The PSAs help support the Coalition’s mission to help severely-wounded veterans and families of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn recover from their injuries and illnesses, and to inspire other organizations and the general public to participate in this effort.
Restoring hope to a wounded hero can take a lifetime. Rebuilding his or her life takes a commitment from all of us. The Coalition provides a website, www.saluteheroes.org, with resources for wounded veterans, their families, and members of the public who would like to help.
Campaign Mission:
- Support wounded veterans and their families
- Inform viewers of the role that wounded veterans’ spouses and caregivers play
- Raise awareness about the Coalition’s programs
- Provide resources to veterans and their families via www.saluteheroes.org
