“Stronger Than The Surge – Hurricane Ian Support”

Program Description

When Hurricane Ian slammed into Florida this past September, it left the historic community of Pine Island in ruins. Residents lost their homes, their jobs, and in some cases, their lives. Those who remain are forced to start over with absolutely nothing.

This wasteland was once a paradise, with swaying palm trees, vibrant wildlife, great fishing, stunning sunsets, and a warm and welcoming community. With your help, we can rebuild this paradise.

The Beacon of HOPE Pine Island is working to support those residents impacted by this horrific event, and we have produced three radio PSAs to help us do so. Titled “Stronger Than The Surge,” these 15, 30, and 60-second spots remind listeners that when Floridians pull together, we can overcome any challenge—even a Category 4 hurricane.
