The U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division (WHD)
“Families First Coronavirus Response Act” Campaign
PSAs are available through December 31st, 2020
Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic remains a top priority for WHD. As America reopens, protecting workers and ensuring that they are paid properly are more important than ever. This includes ensuring their rights to new paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave benefits available under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA). Individuals continue to face challenges caring for loved ones who are ill and grapple with restricted access to daycare and schools/summer camps that remain closed.
WHD continues its robust enforcement of the law and continues to educate both vulnerable worker populations about available protections and employers about their responsibilities. These PSAs will help bring critical information to the workforce when they need it most.
Agricultural Community PSAs
This campaign also includes several PSAs in English and Spanish that address the benefits and protections available to agricultural workers which is one of the most vulnerable communities impacted by COVID-19.
Additional PSAs will be forthcoming as part of this effort. Thank you for helping us deliver this critical information.
