Introducing First Steps 4K  – Radio PSA Campaign

South Carolina First Steps (SC First Steps) is a statewide organization established in 1999 by the South Carolina General Assembly to help close the opportunity gap for South Carolina’s youngest learners. SC First Steps would appreciate your support in airing its recently produced radio public service announcements (PSAs).

The PSAs promote First Steps 4K, a free, high-quality preschool program.

Through this program, qualifying families in South Carolina can access full-day, four-year-old kindergarten (4K). By partnering with more than 300 licensed child care centers and private schools, First Steps 4K makes early learning possible across the state.

First Steps 4K helps children learn, play, make friends, build confidence, and prepare for success in kindergarten and beyond. For families across South Carolina, the program offers children a safe, supportive classroom experience while giving parents peace of mind as they work, care for their families, and manage the demands of daily life.

This campaign includes two (2) PSAs in English. The PSAs encourage parents and caregivers to learn more about First Steps 4K and explore free preschool options for their children. More information is available at Free4KSC.org.
