Program Description: FDA Drug Facts Label PSA is part of an FDA campaign designed to promote consumer awareness and use of the drug facts label that appears on medication packaging. More information on the campaign is available at www.FDA.gov/DrugFactsLabel.
Campaign Mission:
- Provide consumer awareness about the “Drug Facts” label that appears on OTC medication packaging
- Inform consumers about what is found on the label; including active ingredients, the medicine’s purpose, how much to take and warnings
- Provide a website for more information and resources at www.fda.gov/drugfactslabel.
