“CFI Covid” Campaign
Center for Independence (CFI) would appreciate your station or network’s support in airing its new radio public service announcements (PSAs). The PSAs were released as part of a public awareness campaign to help people with disabilities access the services and support they need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Center for Independence is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving as a resource for people with disabilities to fully access and participate in the community in Thurston, Pierce, South King, Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, Island, and San Juan counties. As part of the COVID-19 relief package, CFI has received additional monies to help people with disabilities, who are facing many additional barriers to care, supplies, food, housing, and other necessary resources due to the pandemic. Whether individuals need help accessing technology, applying for benefits, or just finding resources, CFI can help. CFI can work with individuals virtually or with precautions at its offices in Marysville and Lakewood. CFI’s services are free for individuals of all ages with disabilities of all types, including chronic, physical and mental health conditions.
