Connecting Kids to Coverage National Campaign – Peace of Mind (“InsureKidsNow.gov”)
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) would appreciate your support in airing its “For All Life’s Moments” :30 second public service announcements (PSAs). The PSAs were produced as part of the Connecting Kids to Coverage National Campaign. The Connecting Kids to Coverage National Campaign reaches out to families with children and teens eligible for Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) to:
- Raise awareness about free and low-cost health coverage available under these programs for kids, teens, pregnant/postpartum individuals, and their families;
- Motivate parents and caregivers to enroll their children and teens in coverage and take advantage of coverage benefits like dental care, mental and behavioral health care, routine vaccines, and preventive and emergency care;
- Remind enrolled families to renew their coverage annually and regularly review their benefits;
- Encourage families to keep an eye on their mailboxes for information from their state Medicaid office about renewing their child’s coverage and return any forms received ASAP.
CMS would appreciate your support in airing the “For All Life’s Moments” PSAs to spread the word about Medicaid and CHIP and help low-income families in your community get and keep health care coverage.
