“Keep Doing What You Love” Campaign

Program Description:

The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) would appreciate your station or network’s participation in airing its recently produced “Keep Doing What You Love” video Public Service Announcements.

Every six minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and these PSAs seek to create greater awareness of the disease, show the amazing resilience of the PD community, and let people with PD know they are not alone. The PSAs end with a call-to-action to visit www.apdaparkinson.org or call to learn more and get support.

Campaign Goals: 

• Inform viewers about some of the signs and symptoms of Parkinson’s.
• Show that people with Parkinson’s can still do things that they love, even if they have to do them differently.
• Raise awareness that APDA is here to help people with Parkinson’s with support, education, community, and care.
• NOTE: Spots feature real people living with Parkinson’s, not actors.
