NJ CASA — Radio PSA Campaign

EVERGREEN (no expiration date);

The New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault (NJCASA) requests your support in airing its recently produced radio public service announcements (PSAs). The PSAs serve to educate the public about federal funding cuts that could result in an estimated loss of $11 million in funding to NJCASA and its 30 member programs across New Jersey.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) recognizes sexual assault as the second most violent crime in the United States—the first being murder—and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that there are nearly 3 million survivors living here in New Jersey. NJCASA’s statewide membership provides survivors with critical, life-saving services. These programs include all county-based rape crisis centers in the state. Now, due to recent and anticipated federal funding cuts, NJCASA’s services are at risk.

These PSAs inform the public of what they can do to support NJCASA and its membership by visiting the NJCASA website njcasa.org/act to learn more.

  • Raise awareness about NJCASA and its essential programs
  • Inform the public about potentially devastating federal funding cuts
  • Provide a website njcasa.org/act with information on how to help
