The American Psychiatric Association Foundation (APAF) asks for your support in airing its new radio public service announcements (PSAs). The PSAs serve to raise awareness about seasonal depression and the current nationwide mental health crisis.
Today, one in five Americans experiences emotional and mental health challenges. The pandemic has affected how we live our daily lives, leaving many of us feeling more isolated, confused, and alone. Seasonal change can trigger symptoms of depression. APAF understands what people are going through and is available to help, working every day to eliminate stigma, improve medical science, and enhance public education, with a dedication to personalized treatment and compassion.
The Seasonal Depression campaign includes six (6) PSAs in English and Spanish. The PSAs encourage those who are struggling to visit mentallyhealthynation.org or lasaludmental.org to learn more.
