Program Description:

The Pipeline Operators for Ag Safety (POAS), a nonprofit campaign promoting farm and ranch safety near pipelines and underground utilities, would appreciate your station or network’s participation in airing its recently produced TV PSAs entitled Three Seconds Later. The PSAs promote farm safety through the lens of a farm worker who survived a tragic accident during a drain tile installation project in Illinois.

The PSAs feature news footage, cell phone video and interviews pulled from the award-winning documentary film Three Seconds Later, including a first-person account of what the farm worker experienced during the accident. The PSAs promote safety procedures to prevent similar accidents and encourage viewers to learn more about the Farm Safe 811 campaign at farmsafe811.org.
